About
Angela Diggs-Parker is the lead consultant and designer at Angela’s Elegant Events. Angela began planning events for a national museum in her hometown of New York City. By good fortune and fate, Parker was directed to her then unknown passion: wedding planning. As she built her skills coordinating the museum’s grand opening and special events, Parker developed a reputation as a creatively sophisticated visionary and was hired to plan people’s parties, showers, and weddings.
Establishing her career in NYC, she moved to Richmond, Virginia to follow her heart and be with the love of her life, staying true to her claim that she loves love. Following her destined path, she started Angela’s Elegant Events in 2004. She currently teaches the Certified Wedding and Event Planner Certification course at the University of Richmond and is an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
